Alberto began to play the piano at the age of 4 and started his official studies aged 5 at the music school Libera Espressione Musicale in Badia Polesine. After focusing on blues and rock music for several years, his passion for orchestral music brought him closer to classical music in his studies. Deciding to focus more on his classical studies, he began working with Maestro Mario Marcassa and his wife Maestro Patrizia Arduini at Cat Sound Studio in Badia Polesine.
Familiarizing himself with the work of classical composers for several years, he was able to form his own compositional style. During this process he incorporated the disciplines of guitar, bass and drums as well as piano, which helped him to find his own distinctive sound, as well as enabling him to perform in a multi-instrumental capacity with several metal and rock bands. After his private studies he enrolled at Conservatorio di Musica Francesco Venezze in Rovigo (Italy) to study composition, exploring various disciplines including choral composition and orchestration alongside his piano studies.
Throughout this he began to experiment with a fusion of classical music with electronic sounds and other genres, discovering own voice in the Neo-classical genre.
In 2011 he toured Italy as keyboard player with the cover band Cialis Angels as well as taking on various composing commissions. He composed music for the Italian national television networks RAI, LA7 and Deejay Tv. He has composed for Dacia Maraini (candidate for 2012 Nobel prize in literature) and performed live at performances of her play ‘Stravaganza’ at “Teatro Nuovo” in Ferrara (Italy) in April 2012.
After moving to London in 2015 he began collaborating with the orchestrator Geoff Lawson, who has worked on films such Star Wars: Solo, Thor: Ragnarok, Black Panther and recent albums from Voces 8, Katherine Jenkins and Gareth Malone, deepening his understanding of orchestration in the Neo-classical genre.
He has performed as a guest for Sofar Sound, involving the audience in a performance of a song of his own composition. His collaboration with Classic FM led to a performance as part of Global’s Make Some Noise in October 2017, performing at Steinway and Sons Hall in December 2017, and live streaming performances on the public pianos dotted around London’s railway stations on Classic FM’s social media, earning an international audience. His track ‘Tutto E’ Bellissimo’ debuted on Classic FM in December 2017, reaching number 4 on the iTunes Classical Chart in the U.K. and Spain.
In November 2018, Nightfall release, his new single premiered on Classic Fm Radio brought him the 3rd rank in the UK iTunes Chart and 4th in Spain. The track has featured on BBC as well.In January 2019 he had the opportunity to record at the BBC studio Maida vale MV4 (studio where The Beatles, Jimi Hendrix, led Zeppelin recorded) four tracks in acoustic, which has been aired during Alberto’s interview made by Janice Long.
